This is little Miss Bella.... my little girl. She has gotten me back into crafting on a daily basis.... bless her heart! She now wants to craft everyday.... I even find myself crafting ALOT more even while she is in school. Her favorite thing is sticker art and making cards for the kids at the hospital for Project Sunshine and Smiles...
Project Sunshine and Smiles is a group that collects cards to send to the kids at the hospital, they are to bring a smile to their face or a little sunshine to their day. The recent request for the hospital is cards for the kids to use to give to thier family.... so for February we are collecting Spring/Easter cards that will be blank inside for the kids to write to their family. To date Sunshine and Smiles has collected over 14,000 cards!!! In just 18 months. You can make duplicates of the cards, you can make them with a cricut or with anything you want..... but they must be hand made. (Not store bought) I usually buy the blank cards and then decorate them. you can do this however you would like. If you have any questions or where to mail the cards this month please email ContactErica@aol.com with the subject Sunshine and Smiles. Bella picks out stickers at the store to make her cards for "The kids at the hospital" She is very involved in making cards.... mostly sticker art like she is showing you here.... She is really taking the reins with this project.... so you will also make her smile when you send the cards and she opens them and counts them and they go into the box for the next drop off. I do hope you will join us....
Even bigger news.... after this blog gets it make over this week....
Bella is having a design team call.... What??? Yep a design team call.... for KIDS ONLY.
This blog is to show kids projects and ONCE a month there will be a blog hop to go through here. You will be able to show off your child's crafts. You can also share ideas of kids crafts to do. This will be the 3rd Saturday of each month. The project should be posted on your blog (not a child's blog, unless your child has a blog.... no need to create one for them... it is better if it is on the parents blog anyway, it is to be a parent/child blog hop) Bella will also be in the My Cricut Craft Room's 100 Cricut Cartridge blog hop each month. (the first Saturday of each month) So every other week you will get to see what Bella creates and she might have a video to show you her baking skills too :)
So if you would like to have your child be a part of Bella's Blog please email ContactErica@aol.com with your name, blog address and why you and your child would want to be a part of Bella's Design Team. Please out the subject Bella's Blog in your email.
Her purple card shown here was made with Tags, Bags, boxes and More 2. Cut at 6"
